KITES CHARITY OF THE YEAR IS TEENAGE CANCER TRUST
9 Mile walk round Grafham Water
The KITE team and friends walked the 9 mile perimeter of Grafham Water for Teenage Cancer Trust. A fantastic charity close to their hearts. KITEs employee Hollys best friend Skye (Aged 22) is currently awaiting major surgery in February, following her chemotherapy treatment since her diagnosis in May 2022. In total we have raised an amazing £1258!!
KITEs Pool Tournament
JULY 2022 - KITE Engineer Andrew organised a pool tournament for the KITE team. Raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust
Ukraine Collection 2022
FEBRUARY 2022 - KITE organised a collection for the Ukraine Appeal. We organised a collection and the local community donated nappies, baby wipes, clothes, pre - packed food, first aid kits, sleeping bags, etc... We took the donated collection to a local drop off point before they were were transported over to Ukraine.
Derrick's Charity Sky Dive
KITE team Member Derrick organised a sky dive raising money for British Heart Foundation. Here he is completing his hair raising jump!
Diamond DofE
KITE Directors, Clair and Dayle Humphrey, were awarded their Diamond DofE Certificate, raising money for the Duke of Edinborough awards. Their challenge involved 20k kayaking, 20k walking and 20k cycling all over 1 weekend on the River Ouse and around Rutland Water.
NHS Lockdown Collection
During Lockdown the KITE team rallied round collecting items from the local community. The items were taken to the NHS STAFF at our local hopsital, Hinchingbrooke
Annual Macmillan Coffee Morning
Our annual event is always popular, Macmillan Coffee Morning. Raising money for this very special charity whilst drinking coffee and eating cakes!
